February through April are Dragon Scales months! (all ages)Dragon Scales
How long can we make our dragon? We have the head Dragonand tail of a dragon to put on the wall, but we need dragon scales! For every book that you read ask for a dragon scale, write the name of the book on the scale and let’s see if we can make the dragon stretch all the way around the Youth Department! The more books you read, the longer the dragon becomes.

Director’s Notes

Director’s Picks
Occasionally a patron will ask me what I am reading. I guess there is some strange curiosity of knowing what the Library Director reads, so I have decided to temporarily suspend my rights under the Library Privacy Act, and share the title of the book I just finished reading, a few titles I am currently reading, along with some old favorites I have read over the years. Quite honestly, I have never really been a fan of Fiction although I have been known to occasionally pick up a copy of John Grisham’s or David Baldacci’s latest book. I read mostly Non-fiction, statistical reports and trade journals—I know, boring right? I think you might be surprised if you were to consider reading some of my old favorites. Perhaps they just might become yours too!
